Sactown Magazine Lauds CHOC Monarch Affordable Housing Design

Sactown Magazine Hero (edit).jpg

(Sacramento, CA) - CHOC extends sincere thanks to Sactown Magazine and Editor in Chief Rob Turner for featuring CHOC's Monarch Apartment Homes in the May/June 2021 issue. We appreciate Mr. Turner's take, placing our piece in the "Why Not Here?" section of the issue, drawing a straight line between his view of Monarch's "high design" affordable housing in Palm Springs and what's possible - and needed - in the Sacramento region.

"A developer with roots in Davis is building affordable mid-century-modern housing for a Palm Springs neighborhood, proving that equity and aesthetics can co-exist. Color us inspired."

Extended thanks as well to Interactive Design Corporation Architect Maria Song, AIA LEED & AP, The Palm Springs Architectural Alliance, The City of Palm Springs and Modernism Week.
