CHOC Community Impact
Youth and Community Activities Coordinator - The part-time Youth & Community Activities Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating After School Programs at Winters, an affordable housing community, in addition to assisting in planning, organizing, executing a variety of community activities. Community activities are focused on engaging residents and promoting community cohesion. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to building strong relationships within this community.
Responsibilities:
Provide homework assistance and skill building exercises to youth residents
Work with youth residents to develop their computer and internet skills
Assist Services Coordinators in developing and implementing a calendar of community activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of residents.
Assist in planning and facilitation of special events for the property
Ongoing outreach for student participation and adult volunteers
Maintain accurate records of program attendance, computer use, and student progress
Coordinate with supervisor in ordering supplies and materials for programs and activities
Candidate Requirements:
Work experience in services to low-income youth and communities. Classroom/youth group management experience. Community building experience desirable. CHOC Energy
Administrative Assistant - The CHOC/Energy Savings Assistance Program is funded through PG&E and Richard Heath and Associates. This program is designed to provide home energy assessments, energy education and conservation installation services for low income, qualified households in Yolo, Solano, and Sacramento counties. The Administrative Assistant answers and directs all incoming phone calls, providing administrative support to the management team, including special projects. The Administrative assistant will also: work with outside vendors, with scheduling and invoice processing duties; respond to daily client emails, inquiries and updates; process daily work order and schedule staff; more duties detailed via link. Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar software, as well as Salesforce platforms all a plus. Occasional travel to provide on-site support. Bilingual in English and Spanish also a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and have a positive, proactive and can-do attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing marketplace. Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to interact with internal and external contacts with diplomacy, professionalism, and confidentiality, as required.

Call Center Representative - The CHOC/Energy Savings Assistance Program is funded through PG&E and Richard Heath and Associates. The Call Center Representative manages a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, identifying income-eligible PG&E customers from a proprietary database. The scheduling of Energy Specialist appointments across CHOC Energy’s service area. Candidate should bring a customer service focus to customer relationship building / customer engagement, with a solid understanding of program offerings and requirements. Must have strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening; familiarity with data entry CRM systems and practices a plus, as well as the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.

Sterling Asset Management Company (Property Management)
Regional Manager - Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 12-14 smaller unit count (15-170 units) affordable housing properties, ensuring strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role requires strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, and a strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required:
7+ years of progressive experience in Multifamily Property Management, including 3+ years as a Regional Manager.
5+ years of Affordable Housing (LIHTC, HUD, USDA) experience.
Proven track record of managing property P&Ls, budgets, and financial performance metrics.
Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws, eviction processes, and local landlord-tenant laws in California
Experience in staff leadership, training, and professional development.
Proficiency in property management software (Yardi preferably, or similar).
Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel 50% of the time. Local area mostly.
Preferred:
ARM, CPM, or CAM certification is a plus.
