About Homestead

Homestead is a 21-unit affordable housing cooperative. Homestead serves adults with mental illness who are living independently in the community. This supported housing program provides psychiatric, social and independent living services in a compassionate, community-based environment. Clients receive the living skills training, counseling and advocacy services necessary to maintain their independent living situation in the community. Services are provided through our partnership with Yolo Community Care Continuum.

Utilities are included in the monthly rent, and cable TV is provided in the main common community room. Housing Choice Voucher holders are welcome to apply.

Please email or call Homestead for more information. Be aware that CHOC processes applicants through a first come, first served waiting list. Applicants must go through a standard, on-site application process; we encourage you to visit each community of interest. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
